May 28th, 2015. The Jordan School District in Jordan, Utah. In June of each
year, the Jordan School District Fleet becomes due for State registration renewals, therefore requiring the fleet
to be inspected for IE, State Safety
and State Emissions.
"During this year’s
inspection and due to the new State emission regulations, several of the
buses failed the emission test. Normal maintenance protocol for a vehicle
that has failed such test would have the oil changed, the air filter replaced and possible engine
adjustments done to the bus, then re-take the emission test.
The following
buses failed the emission test this year. Bus # 292 (2000 Cummins), Bus #1411
(2006 Cat), Bus #1415 (2006
Cat), and Bus #1427 (2009 Cummins).
A test was conducted by adding a half of bottle of CleanBoost Metal Treatment to the
Engine Oil and One bottle of CleanBoost Silver Fuel Additive to the Diesel Fuel of each bus. The bus was
then brought up to an operating temperature of 180 degrees and then re-tested."
"To my surprise, all
four of these buses then passed its second State Emission test by several points, within an hour of
failing the first test. CleanBoost Fuel Treatment and Engine Metal Treatment have made an extreme
impact on our engines, with their abilities to not only clean and maintain the injection system, but
to also treat and protect engine".
These products have caused an impressive and noted change for myself
and my mechanics’ routines
and past practices and also in regards
to the whole idea of “Magic
Engine Potions”.
In 2013, the
American School Bus Council (ASBS) issued the “School Bus Champion Award” to the State of Utah. In May of 2015, the JORDAN, UTAH school district had 4 buses that
did not pass the State opacity emissions test. Our products reduced their
OPACITY numbers by over 40%.
The Jordan, Utah ISD is now converting 237 buses over to our “2015
Emissions Package” to accomplish the following results;
Extend current oil drains by a factor of 5
Reduced carbon emissions over 7-10%
Reduced Hydrocarbon (HC) emission by 3-9%
Reduced particulate carbon by 13-26%
Reduced particulate emission by 29-43%
Increased combustion by .02-.04%
Reduce diesel fuel consumption by 11-14%
Reduced average opacity emissions 40%
While not affecting NOx or Nitric Oxides
Extend Oil Drains by 5 Times?
Extend time between oil drains by 5 times over current
maintenance intervals by adding the Combust Engine Oil Filtration and CleanBoost Gold.

What Creates the Need to Change Oil?
Contamination: The Buildup of Particulates, Soot, Wear
Scar, Water and other contaminants thru time. Combust Filters eliminate the sand blasting effect that happens with
dirt, water and particulates are forced through hoses, pumps and valves under
pressures of 1,000 pounds and more. The
removal of water from oil and other fluids stops corrosion. Our filtration system cleans the hydraulic
oil to an ISO grade cleaner than new.
With the Filtakleen hydraulic by-pass filtration system, you may never
need to change your hydraulic oil again!
Single Stage SLOW FLOW RATE
Taking 1.5 gallons of oil per minute, Combust Filters
synthetic filter media provides a consistent 3 micron filtration ensuring all
harmful wear metals are removed in a single pass. Combust Filters media has an ISO 16889 Rating
of Bx(c)=200. This Beta rating means
that the filter traps 99.5% of all particles 3 microns or larger on each pass.
ISO 16889 is the international standard for Multi-Pass
Testing to determine the efficiency (beta rating or beta ratio) and the
dirt-holding capacity of the filter.
Engine life is substantially increased by keeping your oil pure and
clean.
The Number for 237 Buses
Congratulations. I kept stumbling upon your blog while Googleing and decided to read everything. Thanks for sharing this amazing article.
